What’s your strength?®  is the brainchild of Career Development Professional, Katherine Jennick, who is passionate about using a strength-based approach to help people realise amazing they are. Founded in 2019, What’s your strength?®  started as a pack of cards to empower teenagers. It has evolved into a series of award-winning resources for young people, adults, and people with additional needs. As well as the abundance of strength-based resources, Katherine also offers 1:1 career guidance for young people, and runs collaborative creative workshops for a variety of different audiences.

There are four packs of cards in the What’s your strength collection:

  • one for teens,
  • one for adults,
  • one that focuses on neurodiversity
  • and one called Let’s get started!

It’s the Let’s Get Started pack that was made in collaboration with Skills Builder, and is aimed at learners with additional needs.

The Skills Bingo game complements the Let's Get Started cards.

The game can be played with small groups or a full class of learners. It is based on the traditional game of bingo but there is a twist- each time a skill word is called out, the 'Bingo Caller' asks the group a reflective question about that skill. For example:

  • Which school subjects help develop this skill?
  • Why is this skill important in the workplace?
  • When have you shown this skill?
  • What could you do to develop this skill?

The resource comes with an instruction sheet and 32 unique bingo cards. It is available to download for free from the What's your strength?® website. Please see link below.
