UNITE!

UNITE! is an action-packed residential designed to bring individuals together and build strong, supportive relationships that make challenging tasks feel achievable. Through a range of practical activities, participants develop communication and collaboration skills while learning to work effectively as a team. Participants are encouraged to support one another, recognise individual strengths and areas for development, and contribute positively in group settings. The programme also develops key communication skills, enabling students to use facts and ask open questions to deepen understanding and improve decision-making.

UNITE! focuses on developing four essential skills: Teamwork, Leadership, Speaking, and Listening. The essential skill steps are discussed at the start of every activity session.  

Working towards shared goals, participants take part in a range of challenges and reflect on their performance to strengthen how they collaborate. This hands-on experience enables participants to build strong peer relationships, understand what successful teamwork looks like, and continue developing effective communication and collaboration skills throughout their secondary school journey.
