THRIVE!, part of the REACH framework, combines the energy of a PGL adventure with mindfulness-based sessions that empower students to manage their wellbeing and set personal goals. They'll learn the importance of adapting, planning and looking after their wellbeing, while helping them develop skills to stay balanced, focused, and ready to learn.  From Axe Throwing to Yoga Practice, each activity has been tailored to help boost students’ wellbeing and help build confidence and discover wellbeing routines that work.

It’s all about getting active, reflecting, and recharging.  THRIVE! focuses on the Essential Skills within the Self-Management pair, addressing Adapting: Managing wellbeing and Planning: Prioritising.

When students feel confident, connected, and resilient, they’re more likely to engage, stay motivated, and grow - in school, in life, and out in the great outdoors.  The THRIVE! residential programme actively develop essential self-management skills by encouraging students to prioritise their wellbeing through journaling and daily reflections.  By participating in varied outdoor challenges they are also strengthening their ability to adapt to new situations and build resilience in unfamiliar environments.
