The curriculum-linked resources span English, Science, and Geography, giving teachers everything needed to deliver impactful lessons. It's aimed at 11 to 14 year-olds in secondary schools in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
In English, students learn about the language of climate change, and learn how to detect misinformation. In Science, students learn about the science behind the green energy revolution. Lessons in Geography look at government targets for reaching net zero and how that might be achieved.
In each of these subjects the learning is underpined with careers information to make links between what students learn at school and future careers they could go into.
Students are introduced to the Skills Builder essential skills icons and their definitions in the introductory lessons, which are then reinforced throughout subsequent sessions. The icons highlight when students are developing a particular skill through an activity and when career role models featured in the content apply that same skill in their roles or industries.
