Aspire, Apply, Achieve

Aspire, Apply, Achieve is a programme designed to raise awareness of the entry criteria for Degree Apprenticeships for the school-leaver age group and to support Year 12 students who are interested in pursuing a Degree Apprenticeship.

In 2025, Manchester Met partnered with Skills Builder to create resources that ensure the students are receiving expert guidance that helps them to build their essential skills. The programme gives students the chance to understand and implement the 8 essential skills into their application process through taking part in an interview with questions based around the essential skills. The mock interviews give the students a chance to reflect on how they have demonstrated specific skill steps using the STAR structure.
